Description
Our MVP launch of the wallet mobile app left a lot to be desired on the token detail views. Unfortunately, we had TGE and a few higher priority projects get in the way of doing minor upgrades that I had pitched. The memecoin frenzy was building and our users need more data to be able to jeet tokens.
All The Things!
I spent some time chatting with colleagues who were deep in the trenches to figure out what's most relevant to them. The results landed somewhere between degen trench trader and the average person who just graduated from a centralized exchange.
Unique Things To Consider
Since this was a massive overhaul, I spent some time working on concepts for charts, how this would look for SOL memecoins and Runes, and also some special considerations for the $ME token and accessing staking.
Charts and Rules
Timeframes, intervals, and density (x-axis labels)
e.g. 15m would have an interval of 30s and density of 2m
High and low prices for timeframe are shown above and below chart, not inside (muddies the data)
Scrubbing
moves at the intervals for the selected timeframe
price, price change, and scrub time change based on x-axis position
ideally, price updates like an old clock or wall street ticker sign
Price and percentage change should also change based on timeframe and scrubbing
